A Dutch municipality moved 70% of its workforce into a building designed around health and left the rest where they were. The move split the staff into two groups without anyone planning a study. The economist Juan Palacios and colleagues surveyed the whole workforce before and after. Sick building syndrome symptoms among those who moved fell by 42%, and sick leave by 2%.
