I am more than just
a human being
wandering around
without feeling
that I am living
a complete life.
My breath does not receive
enough oxygen
to feel
that love flows
in the blood
and runs like a society
through all
my veins.
Street trees in London are counted per kilometre of street, and the count varies a lot from one borough to the next. The public health researcher Mark S. Taylor and colleagues set those counts against the antidepressants prescribed in each borough. One more tree per kilometre came with 1.18 fewer prescriptions per thousand residents. Every tree in the count stands at a kerb, in front of a house or a shop.
